ode to the shoes

Sometimes you want to think of something undyingly funny. Other times you just want to look cool. What makes the difference in your head? Is it the weather?
"Goodness, it's drippy today. I don't feel like agressively demanding attention. I think i will do it in a more passive way by wearing these fabulous fuzzy shoes. haha. That'll do the trick."
Is this what really goes on inside someone's head? I don't think so. I think it's much more passive, like, "I like rain. I like these shoes. I don't feel very social, for totally unrealated reasons, but maybe the fuzzy shoes will kick off the positive center of attention feeling that urge someone to be funny, and by default become the center of attention. Another victim of accident extroversion." Maybe they are totally related regardless of percipitation levels or intentions, and i'm the one that i'm third-person-talking about. Maybe all i want is to be stomach-achingly-funny, and i get the confidence to feebly take a stab at it from my glorious fuzzy shoes. Maybe i'm a freak. No-one has suggested otherwise.
